Submission Process

🔍 Email all of the following to calhighibm@gmail.com: (1) Submit your final Script/Document as a PDF, (2) Include your full name and grade.

🔍Activity 1: Brand Story Video Script

3–5 Hours

Goal: Help a local business connect with customers emotionally by writing a short "brand story" video script — the kind you'd see on a business's Instagram or website — that highlights who they are, why they exist, and who they serve.

Instructions
  1. Choose a local business and research their background (Google, social media, any interviews or "About" pages)
  2. Write a 60–90 second video script that covers: the business's origin or mission, what problem they solve, and a call-to-action for the viewer
  3. Explain in a short paragraph why you structured the story the way you did and who the target audience is
  4. Organize your work in a 1-page document or 3–5 slide Google Slides (script + explanation + any visual notes)
Requirements for Full Hours
  • Script must be based on a real local business
  • Covers all 3 story elements: origin/mission, problem solved, call-to-action
  • Includes a written explanation of your storytelling choices and target audience
