Startup Pitch Deck Challenge

In the Startup Pitch Deck Challenge, teams of 2–3 act as the founders of an original startup. Teams identify a real problem, design a product or service that solves it, and build an investor-style pitch deck explaining why their startup deserves funding.

To Be Announced

• Think like a founder and spot real-world problems worth solving
• Learn how startups make money and stand out from competitors
• Practice persuasive pitching and presentation design
• Compete for prizes and club-wide recognition

1. Teams of 2–3 students form on their own and register through the form (only one Team Lead should register on behalf of the team)
2. Each team comes up with an original startup idea (it must be fictional, not an existing company)
3. Teams research their target market, competitors, and pricing
4. Teams build a 7–10 slide pitch deck
5. Submissions are judged by business professionals and/or club leadership on creativity, feasibility, clarity, and slideshow requirements

1. Title Slide – Team name, member names, and startup name
2. Problem – What problem you're solving and who has it
3. Solution – Your product or service and how it solves the problem
4. Target Market – Who your customers are and why they need this
5. Competition – Existing alternatives and what makes your startup different
6. Business Model – How your startup makes money (pricing, revenue streams)
7. Launch Plan – Your first steps to reach your first customers
8. Conclusion – Why investors should back your startup
9. Appendix – Charts, mockups, or supporting data
